Golden Age of American Football (1950 - 1970)
The Golden Age of American Football began in 1950. The NAFL absorbed the remaining teams of the United Football Clubs of America (UFCA) in the summer of 1949. Work began to realign all teams into regions and to setup a cooperative framework to help all teams become successful.
Challenges for the NAFL
Five teams were completely bankrupt. New York had already been destablized during WWII to save the league. The Exhibition Game question. (Will games against amateur or semi-pro team be allowed to continue?)
